Gross negligence manslaughter conviction in toxic slimming capsule case

The jury today at the central Criminal Court found the defendant guilty of gross negligence manslaughter in supplying DNP to a vulnerable young woman who died after consuming it. He will be sentenced tomorrow.

The case was prosecuted by Richard Barraclough QC and Gordon Menzies.
