Richard Barraclough KC prosecuted man with charges of Rape and Murder

Richard Barraclough KC, leading Howard Searle, instructed by CPS West Midlands, prosecuted in the case of R v Ellitts.

After changing his pleas to guilty of a particularly brutal murder, as well as four robbery charges, on 16th January, Ellitts was put to trial on rape charges. On 25th January 2024, he was found guilty of 2 charges by the jury.
